Boundaries by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend.  This book is great for both you and your child.  Many of us grow up with broken boundaries and as a result, allow people to talk all over us--even our children.  This book takes a look at what appropriate boundaries are for the most significant relationships in your life--God, spouse, children, your parents, and friends.

ApParent Privilege by Steve Wright.  Parents have the greatest privilege of their lives in front of them every day:  raising their children.  Pointing their children to Christ, modeling the Gospel, and talking about God's grace shouldn't be a burden.  It is a privilege.  ApParent Privilege provides biblical understanding and up-to-the-minute research to encourage parents in the unparalleled opportunity they have to be the primary influencer of their children.  This book presents parents with a biblical framework for parenting within both the family and the church.  Parents can use this book to better equip them to pass on the legacy of faith to their children.

Your Girl by Vicki Courtney.  A tool for moms to help their daughters navigate six of the fiercest battles of the teen years: conformity, self-esteem, sexual purity, modesty, boys, and girl politics.

30 Days: Turning the Hearts of Parents & Teenagers Toward Each Other  by Richard Ross and Gus Reyes.   Starting with just ten minutes each evening, parents and teens find a quiet place and open and alternately read five cards, each designed to build heart connections.  Why does it work? The authors draw not only on their extensive professional experience, but also on their personal desire to better relate to their own teenage children.

Living with Teenagers (magazine).  This monthly magazine offers plenty of help and hope for parents of teenagers.  Each monthly issue offers practical answers from a Christian perspective to real-life questions.  It helps parents develop a growing relationship with teens that guides teenagers toward responsible Christian adulthood.

The Five Love Languages of Teenagers by Gary Chapman .  Conflicts and miscommunication often arise when families deal with anger, independence, responsibility, and other crises of adolescence in a language other than the teen's.  This will help parents improve their relationship with their teen as they become aware of, and fluent in, their child's primary love language.
