We know you have questions. The cool thing is, we have answers! If we don't, we will!
MISC
- Who is Remnant for?
Remnant creates with middle school, senior high, and college-aged students in mind who live in the Kitsap area and beyond. - How does my son/daughter get involved?
We believe that there is a spot for everyone. You are just an email away. Click here for more info. - My son/daughter is shy. What is there for them?
Good question! Most teens who are shy want to start in a smaller environment. Check out our groups and Momentum to see about being in a less-intimidating environment. - I'm a parent. How do I get involved?
We would love to have you be a part of Remnant. In fact, we cannot do it without you. Check out this page for ways to make a difference. - I'm a parent. Does Remnant offer counseling for me and my son/daughter?
Depending on the need, Remnant does offer pastoral care and counseling, and if needed, will refer you to ongoing counseling. - I'm college-aged. How do I get connected?
Join one of our mentoring groups on Sunday mornings at 9:30. This is a time where college-aged students can connect with each other and older adults to build life-long relationships. - I'm college-aged. How do I get involved in ministry?
Email Lance. He'd love to have coffee with you and figure out where you'd fit best. - Will my son/daughter be safe on Tuesday night at The WELL?
Yes, if they choose to follow our simple rules. If they are in the building, they are safe. We have an "in or off" policy-either your student is in the building or off campus. While our security team is made up of incredible adults go out of their way to get every student in the building, they are not responsible for a student's decision to go off the campus. If they choose to leave the campus, we cannot be responsible for them. - How do I know my son/daughter stayed in The WELL?
Ask them. If you suspect they might by lying, please feel free to email Lance and he will ask others. - Groups. Which one is right for my son/daughter?
Every group has a different personality and there should be one that fits theirs as well. Check out our groups page for more detailed information. - Do groups play "M" rated games?
Yes, if deemed acceptable/reasonable by the Remnant Game Review Committee. Each game that is in question (regardless of the rating--as we know, those can be very misleading), the games that are played, and the frequency and the part of the game that is played, has been deemed reasonable to play for teens. On the rare nights that we plan to play those games, we provide parent permission forms as a way of honoring you. - Do groups ever take field trips?
Yes. Groups do go to different locations for a change of scenery, a chance to minister to others, or just for fun. However, before they go, they have been instructed to have minors' parents or guardians fill out a permission form.
